Methodology
Collected from the Bank of Canada's Valet API (series V39079, "Target for the overnight rate"). The value only changes on the Bank's eight scheduled rate-announcement dates per year (or, rarely, an intermeeting action) — flat stretches between announcements are the rate holding steady, not a data gap.
