Methodology

Collected from Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED), series DFF — the daily effective federal funds rate. This differs from the FOMC's target range (e.g. DFEDTARU / DFEDTARL), which is set at scheduled meetings and moves in discrete steps; DFF is the actual daily market rate within that target range.
